Milk Frother General Questions
What types of milk can the milk frother froth?
For better result:
- Use fresh refrigerated whole milk (fat > 3%) for better froth richness. Non-dairy milk does not produce as much froth as dairy milk.
- Always use cold (about 39–43°F / 4–6°C) and fresh milk.
- Always fill the milk jug between the MIN and MAX level markings.
- Pour the frothed milk as soon as possible for the best foam quality.
- Frothed milk should not be reheated to prevent the overheat protection from activating.
For frothing non-dairy milk:
- We recommend using barista types of milk over plant milk for richer milk foam. Plant-based milk generally does not foam as well as whole dairy milk, and the froth result cannot be guaranteed.
- Generally, the foam is richer if there's a higher concentration of protein. The froth thickness goes down like this: Soy milk > Almond milk > Coconut milk > Rice milk > Cashew milk > Oat milk.
What the error codes mean and what should I do when the machine displays an error code?
E2 error:
It means that there is an open circuit issue with the internal temperature sensor of the machine. Please shut down the machine, unplug the power cord and then plug it back in to turn on the product to see if it works properly.
E5 error:
It means that this milk frother may be overheated. Please try the following steps to see if the milk frother will work again:
- Unplug the cord from the power outlet.
- Remove liquid from milk jug. Rinse the milk jug and frothing whisk set with cold water then dry thoroughly.

The interior of the Integrated Milk Frother is stainless steel with a food-grade PTFE non-stick coating.
This non-stick coating is food-grade and is made of PTFE(PTFE is used as a non-stick coating for pans and other cookware. It is nonreactive)
-
Dishwasher safe: The Detachable Milk Frother's jug, lid, measuring cap, and whisk set are top-shelf dishwasher safe. The Integrated Milk Frother is not dishwasher safe.

It does not froth the milk
If the whisk doesn't turn:
- Please confirm whether your whisk is installed correctly.
- The small pillar on the frothing whisk should be upward.
- The frothing whisk with spring stirs by magnetic force with the heating plate of the base. It would be stuck and not move if reversed.
The whisk does turn but still does not froth the milk
- Please confirm whether you use whole milk (Fat>3%).
- Proteins and fats in milk are responsible for how well the milk is frothed, so non-dairy milk doesn't have as much foam as whole milk.
It does not heat the milk
- Regarding the heating issue, this milk frother can heat the milk up to 60℃±5℃(131℉-149℉), which is the optimal temperature. Also, the nutritional ingredients will not be destroyed at that temperature.
- Ensure that you have selected the heating temperature instead of room temperature.
- Pick up the pitcher and put it back on the base to see if the milk frother can heat milk again. To avoid heating issues caused by poor contact with the heating base, and also ensure that the heating base is clean.
The heating plate or the bottom of the pitcher looks dirty after a period of use.
- This is normal oxidation
- In order to make the heat conduction faster and more uniform, the surface of the heating plate and the bottom layer of the pitcher are made of aluminum. At the same time, the heating plate has heat. When it encounters water or other liquid impurities, a dry layer will form on the surface, and with time looks slowly become dirty.
- Besides, both the pitcher and the heating plate are metal, which creates friction and produces some powder. These are manifestations of normal wear and tear and depreciation of the product. If it is cleaned in time, it will not affect its use.
It takes a long time to heat the milk
In order to avoid the problem that the milk frother is difficult to clean due to sticking to the bottom, this milk frother adopts the intermittent heating method, which leads to a longer heating time. In addition, this heating method can make the milk foam denser. The heating time may vary from 2 to 7 minutes depending on the amount of milk added.
Why does the milk frother make 12 beep sounds?
Possible reasons:
- The yellow protective paper in the base is not taken off
- Dry burn protection
- The pitcher is not flat
Solutions:
- Take off the protective paper
- Add the milk and start again.
- Take the pitcher off and put it back flat
Does the whisk set have plastic parts? Can you provide a whisk set made entirely of metal?
- The whisk disk is plastic. The material is FDA-approved and we use food-grade material to produce this product. They are BPA-free.
- The frothing whisk with spring stirs by magnetic force with the heating plate of the base. If the whisk disk were made of metal, it would affect the normal operation of the milk frother. Therefore, we are unable to offer a whisk set made entirely of metal.
How to make chocolate milk using this milk frother?
- You will need to use the whisk with the spring removed.
- Always allow the milk frother to start a few seconds before adding ingredients. This will allow the milk to warm up and help dissolve the additional ingredients.
- Such as:
First add 400ml of whole milk, select 70 degrees Celsius and rich milk froth level, touch the start button to start working, add 40g of chocolate after heating for a while.
The milk frother can't stir the powder properly.
Reasons:
- Ingredients have been added before the milk has warmed up.
- Ingredients are too large.
Solutions:
- Always allow the milk frother to start for a few seconds before adding ingredients.
- Ensure ingredients are in small pieces.
White spots on the handle after washing in the dishwasher.

What does the number range of 0.3-1.2 on the machine mean? How can I use it to control the coffee concentration?
0.3-1.2 represents the water intake speed.
The normal ratio of coffee powder to water is 1:15. The faster the water intake speed, the lower the coffee concentration will be; the slower the water intake speed, the higher the coffee concentration will be.
In other words, you can use this rotary button to control the coffee concentration. The closer the position is to 0.3, the higher the coffee concentration will be, and the closer it is to 1.2, the lower the coffee concentration will be.

Low pressure:
Low pressure:
There are couple of reasons I can think of for the low pressure issue.
- Ground level not fine enough
- Dosing is too small
- Channeling
So I got three questions for you:
- May I know your current grinder and your grinding level? A image for the ground particular would be helpful.
- What’s your current dosing amount? The less dose, the finer ground it needs. So if you are using the smallest dosing amount like 15g, then a finer grind level is needed for the extraction.
- This is the hardest part. If you are using a small dose like 15g, a good WDT work is essential, since the puck would be relevant thin due to the small dose.
I would recommend you to add the dosing amount to higher level from 15g to like 18g or 20g. If you are already using an 18 or 20g dose, then try grind finer and do a bit longer the WDT work for best evening the dose.

What is the battery capacity? Wonder if I can take it on a flight?
- The product comes with a built-in 7500mAh 18650 lithium battery. Whether the product can be taken on a flight depends on the specific requirements of the airlines of each country. You may contact the airline for confirmation.
Is the area you pour water into made of plastic? Like are you heating water in plastic?
- The bottom of the water container is made of stainless steel, and the sides are made of food-grade plastic.
Cannot be punctured using the capsule and leaks?
- It is recommended that you use Nestle's capsules and make sure that the capsules are placed in place during use. Put the capsule directly after the tightening of the capsule, do not press the capsule. Puncturing the capsule in advance may lead to insufficient air pressure inside, and the other side of the capsule cannot be punctured.
- If there is coffee powder, try to use another powder bin to see if it works properly.
The product rattles after pressing start, but does not dispense the coffee liquid properly.
- Cold extraction and hot extraction 2 modes are tried to see if both modes have this problem.
- If you can try again, pay attention to listen to the coffee machine work in whether there is extraction sound (pressure pump work). No liquid is usually a problem with the pressure pump.
