Low pressure
There are couple of reasons I can think of for the low pressure issue.
1. Ground level not fine enough
2. Dosing is too small
3. Channeling
So I got three questions for you:
1. May I know your current grinder and your grinding level? A image for the ground particular would be helpful.
2. What’s your current dosing amount? The less dose, the finer ground it needs. So if you are using the smallest dosing amount like 15g, then a finer grind level is needed for the extraction.
3. This is the hardest part. If you are using a small dose like 15g, a good WDT work is essential, since the puck would be relevant thin due to the small dose.
I would recommend you to add the dosing amount to higher level from 15g to like 18g or 20g. If you are already using an 18 or 20g dose, then try grind finer and do a bit longer the WDT work for best evening the dose.
TDifference between Maespresso 58 pro and Maespresso 58 pro 2.0.
1.Difference between MP58 2.0 and the previous MP58: The MP58 2.0 features effortless pressure control and a fixed basket design, whereas the previous version (MP58 Pro) includes a replaceable filter screen and magnetic hidden WDT. Both models share the same 58mm basket size and are compatible with air pumps or CO₂ cartridges, but they cater to different brewing preferences — MP58 Pro focuses on offering varied extraction flow options, while the MP58 2.0 prioritizes simplicity and consistency.
2.About the Air Pump: The MP58 2.0 does not include an air pump by default. We recommend using any standard bicycle-style air pump that supports Schrader valve connections and can safely generate pressure up to 10.3 bars (150 PSI). We also support 16g CO₂ cartridges as an alternative for convenient pressure delivery.
